Carla A. Domenech
Attorney
Carla holds a Juris Doctorate degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico School of Law, a Master of Business Administration degree in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Business Management from the University of Puerto Rico. She is a certified judiciary interpreter and a native speaker of Spanish.
Carla is originally from Puerto Rico where she attended a prestigious private school that taught English from grades K-12. After completing her bachelor's degree, she worked as a Recruiter advising businesses on staffing strategies, compliance, and workforce development, as well as counseling candidates on career advancement. After relocating to the mainland United States, she became a Senior Legal Recruiter advising multiple law firms in the Richmond area.
Carla has extensive expertise in document review and e-discovery, having managed and participated in high profile projects involving antitrust investigations, international securities litigation, and major class action settlements including the BP Oil Spill and the Chinese Drywall Contamination cases. She has served in supervisory roles overseeing domestic and international review teams, conducted high level privilege and privacy reviews, and acted as subject matter expert on Spanish language documents and translations. These experiences took her abroad to Brussels and London to provide support in one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in U.S. history. She had the opportunity to work for the Department of Justice representing the military in multiple contract disputes.
Carla has more than a decade of legal experience, a diverse background and speaks Spanish. She is licensed to practice law in Puerto Rico and U.S. federal courts.
